Ocean Park Camp | February 18-20, 2017
2017’s fun-filled district retreat at Ocean Park Camp & Retreat Center! Throughout the weekend we spend time in worship and prayer, we will play games, explore the camp and enjoy two days away from the busyness of life. The Reverend Heather Sparkman will help us explore our weekend’s theme: CALM: Finding Peace in Anxious Times.
The Vancouver District youth retreat welcomes youth in grades 6 through 12 and the adults who work with them.
Check-in will begin at 11 AM on Saturday morning and we will wrap up Monday morning also at 11 AM.

FOR ADULTS & YOUTH LEADERS│ Local churches are asked to provide one chaperone for every six youth of each gender. Adult chaperones at the Vancouver District Youth Retreat must have a national background check on file with their local church or the PNW Conference Office that has been run in the last two years. Because the oldest youth at the retreat can be 19, chaperones at the retreat must be at least 23 years of age by 02/18/2017. If these rules present a challenge for your church, please contact vancouver@pnwumc.org.
CANCELLATIONS│ Cancellation notices received on or before February 10, 2017 will receive a refund on the registration fee. The registration fee will not be refunded on cancellations received after February 10, 2017. At that time, preparations have already been made for you (or your youth) to attend the retreat. “No-shows” will not receive a refund and are still responsible for unpaid registration fees. Report cancellations to vancouver@pnwumc.org.
